The Serpentine are an ancient race of serpentine creatures that inhabit the world of Ninjago. They have a human physique but have characteristic snake-like features: scales, tails, sharp fangs, vertical pupils, and various abilities depending on their tribe. Serpentines are capable of speaking human language, wielding weapons, and creating complex communities.

Serpentine and humans once lived in the same world, but conflicts arose between them. In ancient times, the First Spinjitzu Master divided some of the Serpentine tribes and imprisoned them underground to stop the wars. Many years later, they were released, which caused serious events in Ninjago.

Kai prefers fast and powerful vehicles. Its main transport is often represented by red motorcycles, capable of high speed and used both in the city and on rough terrain. Some versions of his vehicles are equipped with weapons and additional mechanisms.

Jay uses a blue high-tech flying vehicle that looks like a fighter. Its transport is usually distinguished by maneuverability and a large number of technical devices. Jay also likes to improve his technique on his own.

Cole controls heavy and powerful transport. His vehicles are usually larger and more durable than those of other ninjas, such as massive motorcycles or war machines. They are able to overcome obstacles and withstand serious collisions.
