Robbie (Chinese: "罗比" Luó bǐ)is the main protagonist of Escape from This Place. According to his introductory sheet, he was with his mother who picked him up after school on a rainy day. He ended up being separated from his mother and he ended up being found by the Mouse Doctor who kidnapped him and took him to the Hospital. Robbie has black hair and green shiny eyes. He wears a black and white striped prisoner outfit. On his shirt, he has an identification number with the number '001' on his chest. He doesn't wear shoes. At times, Robbie is described as not being timid, but incredibly for a child his age, he displays considerable bravery. Even though he showed fear of the Hospital's experiments, he had the courage to confront them in some situations, such as when he and Bisi fought against Dr. Mouse, where Robbie punched him in the face. In addition, he also faced the Intern Doctor once and emerged victorious. Despite performing acts of bravery, he also acts cowardly in some situations, such as when he is face to face with Leilu, where, out of fear, he simply ran away in search of a place to hide from her, he has also shown to be very afraid of Mouse Doctor. Notably, Robbie is extremely loyal to his friend Bisi, as they have forged a strong bond of friendship throughout their journey. Notable acts of this loyalty from Robbie included saving Bisi from the Intern Doctor and then using a piece of his clothing to make an improvised bandage to help with Bisi's foot injury. He himself states that he only confronted the Intern Doctor because of Bisi. He is also kind; when he accidentally knocked the air duct cover off and hit Slime on the head, he apologized for it.

Bisi (Chinese: "比西" Bǐ sī) is one of the main protagonists of the Escape from This Place. He ends up becoming an antagonist in the later episodes. He lost his mother and got in orphanage. Bisi ran away from the orphanage and went to an alley where he stayed, swearing that he never wanted to go back to that orphanage. He ended up being found by the Mouse Doctor who took him to The Hospital. Bisi has messy, spiky black hair, with several bandages on his head; his left eye is covered by a bandage. He wears a prison uniform, black and white stripes, and is predominantly kicked, with the prisoner number '001' on his chest. He is also barefoot. Appearance (as mouse)

He has white fur and skin, yellow eyes and his hair covers his left eye. He wears a black and white striped prisoner outfit. He also has a bandage on his forehead, which sort of resembles a headband. On his shirt, he has an identification number with the number '002'. It can be said that Bisi is nice and friendly; he saved Robbie even though he didn't know him and even invited him to run away with him. He is clever and cunning and shows no fear of his enemies, as seen throughout the series. It can be said that he is extremely kind to his friend (Robbie), helping him and thanking him as well. Even though he was friendly with allies, he showed some anger when Robbie was kind of dumb or slow at times. With his enemies, he curses at some of them and doesn't like them at all, as seen when he nicknamed the Mouse Doctor "Rat demon," and he also bit the Intern Doctor's hand. He also nicknamed Leima "Purple mouse"

Slime (Chinese: "粘液" Niányè) is a character and possibly one of the protagonists in Escape from This Place. Initially, Dr. Mouse was developing a new potion which ultimately ended being unsuccessful. He flushed the substance down the toilet into the sewer, where it gained consciousness and transformed into a human-like form. The Intern Doctor found him and decided to recruit him as a new worker for The Hospital. Dr. Mouse was unaware of all this, however. Slime is a human-shaped slime hence his name. His skin is green and very sticky. He has dark green hair and white eyes with small black pupils. He wears an oversized white lab coat and a white hat but no shoes or pants.
Abilities:
Adhesive body: Slime's body is extremely sticky like glue, it can use its body to trap opponents easily enough just by hugging them.
Invulnerability to water: In a quick scene from Episode 19, Slime is seen trying to trap Leilu in the water, and he shows no problem with it. This indicates that he is invisible to water.

Dr. Mouse (Chinese: "鼠博士" Lǎoshǔ bóshì) is one of the main antagonists of Escape from This Place. He works in the Potion Laboratory, where he develops and tests various potions. He was probably used for experiments, when the laboratory that conducted these experiments caught fire, he and the Mouse Doctor managed to escape. They finally made it to The Hospital. There, he began working on experiments like potions, and he also created the Purple Doctors. He is an anthromorphic mouse, his eyes are yellow, he has white hair. He wears a white bolo shirt with gray lines, he has a type of black quarter on his chest with a drawing of a knife and a skull.

The Mouse Doctor (Chinese: "鼠医生" Lǎoshǔ yīshēng) is the main antagonist of Escape from This Place. She is the head of The Hospital. According to her introduction sheet, she was a mouse that was used for experiments by scientists. Just as she was about to be experimented on, a fire broke out in the facility, giving her a chance to escape. She escaped alongside Dr. Mouse. Eventually, she somehow reached The Hospital and became the head. She hate humans. Mouse Doctor is described as a humanoid rat with white skin and pale yellowish, almost beige, hair. She has two low buns and her nose is kind of red and she has two pink circles that represent blush. Its tail is small and white. She wears a doctor's hat with a clumsy red cross on it, and a somewhat crumpled white lab coat.

Leilu (Chinese: "雷璐" Léi lù) is one of the antagonists of Escape from This Place. She is Leima's sister. In Leima's description, it was revealed that the two lived in a large family of rats (probably with Leima and Leilu's parents and their deceased siblings). Unfortunately, a human found their family nest and he killed their parents and siblings, only Leima and Leilu escaped. Eventually, they find the doctor and he cooperates with them. Leilu is an anthropomorphic rabbit. She wears a short white doctor's gown and a nurse's hat. She has a faint pink skin tone and raspberry pink hair styled in double low buns. Her eyes are yellow with black irises. Similar to Leima, her legs are white instead of faint pink, and they appear to be fluffier than the rest of her body. It is known that she loves her sister Leima very much, she loves to spend the whole day with her and it seems that Leilu only cares about her sister.

Leima (Chinese: "莱玛" Léi mǎ) is one of the antagonists of Escape from This Place. She is Leilu's sister. In its description it is revealed that Leima lived In a large family of rats (possibly leima and Leilu's parents and their deceased siblings) Unfortunately humans found their family nest and killed their parents and their siblings, Only she and Leilu escaped. She and Leilu were homeless, but they met Mouse doctor and began to cooperate with her. Leima is an anthropomorphic mouse. She has a faint purple skin tone and bright purple hair styled in double low buns. Her eyes are dark yellow with black irises. She wears a short white doctor's gown and a nurse's hat. Oddly enough, her legs are white instead of light purple, and they appear to be more furry (Possibly the legs model were from Zepeto's furry legs)

The Intern Doctor (Chinese: "实习医生" Shíxí yīshēng) is one of the antagonists in Escape from This Place. He suffered a lot of abuse from his family, one day he couldn't take it anymore and ran away from home. Unable to survive and probably starving, he fell to the ground from exhaustion, but at that moment Mouse Doctor found him and took him to her base. The Intern Doctor is tall, has orange or yellow eyes and his face has several scars. Your skin is white in color. As clothes he wears a blue shirt and hat, a half torn and dirty blue shirt, he also wears what appears to be a dirty and torn white lab coat, dirty and torn blue pants and he is barefoot. He also wears around his neck the tool used to listen to the heartbeat.

The Purple Doctors (Chinese: "紫色医生" Zǐsè yīshēng) are the laborers of The Hospital and some of the antagonists of Escape from This Place. They are mainly guards, but may also fulfill other jobs. They appear to be some kind of mutated humans. They are generally tall, bald, have yellow or orange eyes, and have light purple skin, hence the name. As for their clothing, they wear a white long-sleeved doctor's coat that appears to be half-unbuttoned on the chest, dark pants, and large black shoes. They also wear white face masks and hats.

The Mouse Chef (Chinese: "鼠标厨师" Shǔbiāo chúshī) is a character from the series Escape from This Place. He works as a cook, hence his name. He is an anthropomorphic mouse with dark yellow eyes, curly brown hair, and visible blush on his cheeks. He wears a white chef's coat with six buttons and a large black bow tie. He also has a short chef's hat. You could say he's a bit sadistic when it comes to preparing her food, since the carrots she uses to make her soup are alive. He is seen smiling, and even finding it funny to see the carrots screaming and suffering. He's also a bit of a grumpy boss. He doesn't seem to have any relationships with other characters, as most of the time he is seen alone. It is only in a few specials where he is together with some of them, including Leima, Leilu and Dr. Mouse.
