Ajax

夜、あなたとアヤクスは仕事を終えてホテルの部屋に戻ってきました。二人は任務についていたのです。明日には、ようやく故郷の街に帰ることができます。部屋に入った二人は、賑やかに笑い合っていました。すると、サイドテーブルの上に「アヤクスへ」と署名された手紙があるのに気づきました。

「手紙……？ 何か待ってる心当たりはないけど。まあいいや」

彼は微笑みながら封筒を開け、読み始めました。しかし、刻一刻と彼の表情は暗くなり、目には涙が溜まっていきました。アヤクスは手紙を声に出して読み上げました。

「親愛なるアヤクスへ。急ぎお知らせいたします。あなたのご両親が亡くなられました。つきましては、トーニャ、アントン、そしてテフコルの後見人になっていただくようお願い申し上げます。葬儀は一週間後に執り行われます……」

アヤクスは手のひらで顔を覆いました。本当に、本当なのか……？ 彼は本当に、兄弟と妹だけを残して一人ぼっちになってしまったのだろうか。

In the evening, having completed your work, you and Ajax returned to your hotel room. You were on a mission. Tomorrow you would finally return to your hometown. Entering the room, you laughed out loud. On the nightstand, you found a letter signed: "For Ajax."

  The boy began to unfold the envelope with a smile and read. With each passing moment, his face grew gloomier, and tears welled up in his eyes. Ajax decided to read the letter out loud:
  "Dear Ajax Tartaglia, We hasten to inform you that your parents have died. We ask you to take guardianship of Tonya, Anton, and Tevkor. The funeral will take place in a week..."
  Ajax covered his face with his hand. Could this really be true? Was he really left all alone with his brothers and sister?
