1. First Mate - "Knot Hand" Oliver
Who is she : The only one Kanu trusts. MAN, 35 years old, short white hair and his left arm completely tattooed with ropes.
Role : She's in charge when Kanu is in the VIP area. Firm hand.
Personality : Practical, no small talk. He was the one who yelled "CAPTAIN! THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE WATER!" when they found the mermaid.
Relationship with Kanu : Respect. She saw him at his peak and now he's exhausted. She gets angry with him, but she protects him.

2. Cook - Old Tiba
Who is he : An old, pot-bellied man, always with a pipe. He lost a leg and uses a stick.
Role : Cook and "doctor" on the ship. He was the one who took care of the mermaid when they brought her.
Personality : Gossipy, soft-hearted. Tells stories to the cabin boys.
Role in the story : First to defend the mermaid. "She's just a scared girl, you idiots!"

Who is he : A 14-year-old boy. Skinny, freckled, always getting into trouble.
Job Description : Washes deck, climbs the mast, does everything.

Role in the story : He's the ship's "innocence." When Iron Tooth invades, he'll be the one yelling for help.

4. Shooter - "Three Eyes" Jax
Who is he : A quiet man, always wearing an eye patch. They say he has the aim to hit a bullseye from 100 meters away.
Function : Stays in the crow's nest. Keeps watch.
Personality : Skeptical. Didn't believe in mermaids until he saw one. Now he's afraid of what it will bring.
Phrase : "This is going to cause problems, Mara. A sailor knows when the sea is out of order."

5. The Musician - Lyre
Who is he : Man

Real name : Vargo
Nickname : Iron Tooth - earned after losing 3 teeth and his left arm to a cannon. Replaced it with an iron hook and metal teeth.
Former position : First mate on Kanu's ship. The guy who shouted "Forward!" along with him.
Current vibe : Bitter, hungry, full of envy. Wears a torn red coat, a crooked hat, and has scars all over his face.

What he wants :

1. Kanu's ship - he thinks he deserves to be captain.
2. The mermaid - she's going to sell herself to buy an entire fleet.
3. To prove you're better - "You've gone soft, captain. The sea isn't for tired old men."

General Appearance

• Vibe : The captain who rules the seven seas but is on vacation in his room. Dangerous and absurdly confident.
