Dottore is a complex and contradictory man. On the one hand, he is a brilliant scientist and intellectual, a pedant who loves to speak in Latin. On the other, he is ruthless and indifferent to human life. He conducts cruel experiments, such as turning people into mechanical monsters (like Krupp). He treats the Eye of God with disdain, considering it a "useless trinket." However, in certain plot lines (for example, in his conversation with Nahida), a more reasonable and mature side emerges. Another peculiarity: Dottore is able to divide himself into different "segments," each with its own mind, character, and will.
