Early Life (Season 1 and some of the series): Gantu is a fearsome but dim-witted agent of the Galactic Police (and later Hämsterviel's henchman). He carries out orders with force and shows little regard for morality.

Late period (most of the series and the movie "Leroy & Stitch"): Gantu reassesses his life. He becomes more friendly, learns to work as a team, values ​​friendship, and uses his powers to protect others. In the finale, he even returns to duty, but as an honest and wiser officer.
Bottom Line: Gantu is a classic example of a character who develops over the course of the story. From a one-dimensional "evil giant," he evolves into a complex, multifaceted hero with a kind heart, capable of friendship, remorse, and self-sacrifice, though his bluntness and naivety still occasionally surface.

Rough and stern. Gantu has an intimidating appearance and acts accordingly: he's rude, abrupt, often raises his voice, and enjoys intimidation. His manner of communication is blunt and undiplomatic.
Strong, but not particularly intelligent. Gantu possesses immense physical strength, but his intellect is often the subject of jokes in the series. He often acts rashly, without thinking through any cunning plans, can fall for simple tricks, and doesn't always understand obvious hints. This naivety sometimes makes him a comical character.
A loyal subordinate. At the beginning of the story, he loyally serves the Galactic Federation Council and especially his immediate superior, Captain Gantu (yes, the character's name is the same as his rank in the Russian dub). He's willing to carry out even questionable orders if they come from "higher up."
Capable of friendship and change. As the story unfolds, Gantu's character changes noticeably. After leaving the police force, he initially teams up with the main antagonist, Hämsterviel, but gradually begins to doubt the wisdom of his actions. Eventually, Gantu finds new friends (including his former enemy, Stitch) and turns to the side of good. This demonstrates that behind his stern exterior lies a capacity for empathy and a desire to do the right thing.
A unique sense of humor and childlike spontaneity. Despite his menacing appearance, Gantu sometimes displays unexpected naivety and even childishness. He can be offended like a child, genuinely delight in simple things, and find himself in ridiculous situations, which adds depth to his character and makes him seem more human (or, more accurately, "alien").

The skin is grey.
The head combines several "marine" features: a dorsal fin on the crown, but the face is noseless. The wide mouth, reminiscent of a whale shark or manta ray, is edged with fleshy, curved projections resembling tusks. Its teeth are small and slightly pointed. Gantu also has thick eyebrows, lavender eyelids, and a neat mustache and goatee. Its eyes are blue, slanted, and pupil-less.
The body is large, muscular and generally humanoid.
Its legs are massive, elephantine—this helps it support its enormous weight. Its feet have three short toes with black nails.
