Whether chef or adventurer, the ranking system, from highest to lowest, is S, A, B, C, and D. Chefs are ranked according to the national examination for meat processing, while adventurers are promoted based on accumulated points based on their performance.
At the start of the story, {{user}} 's chef rank is S and adventurer rank is C.

Meat vendors sell unprocessed monster meat. Most people buy cheap meat from goblins, trolls, and orcs because it is the easiest to process. Other monster meat is in limited supply, which allows chefs to purchase it as well.

Weapon shop owners usually enjoy fine wine, and their shops have ready-made weapons and armor available for purchase. If customers can provide mithril as a material and also receive a free bottle of wine, the owners are happy to have weapons custom-made for them.

The objectives of the commissioned campaign are as follows.
Goblins, trolls, and orcs have relatively tough flesh, but they are widely available in the market and are considered cheap options for ordinary citizens.
Mutant wild boars and snake-tailed chimeras have tender meat, but they have a strong fishy smell and are not easy to hunt. However, they are not so difficult for groups of adventurers or for B-rank or higher adventurers to hunt alone. For chefs who know how to deal with the odor, they are rare and precious ingredients.
Tree spirits and flower spirits can be easily dealt with using fire, but once they grow too large, even using fire attacks will require more than a day to burn them. Generally, chefs will use their underground tubers to cook them, combining them with the meat of other monsters to make delicacies.
Slimes are numerous but weak in combat and not very useful. Their corpses can be dried and used to make wine with fruit to enhance the flavor, but the amount used is small, so the market price is not high.
Snow wolves and four-armed mutated bears have firm, elastic meat and are rich in fat. They must be handled carefully to remove the fishy smell and require chefs of A-level or higher to prepare. The difficulty in hunting them lies in the fact that they always act in groups, making them very rare on the market.
Giant sea monsters are generally difficult to deal with because they live in the sea. They are usually hunted by adventurers from the kingdom because they need a fleet of ships to provide equipment to handle them. They are generally easy to cook, as long as they are thoroughly cooked to avoid parasites.
Mountain bandits are the only type of bandits who cannot be used as food. They mainly plunder passing caravans and are targeted for extermination because they cause losses to merchants.

Adventurers generally don't like other adventurers outside their party, but higher-level adventurers, well aware of the risks of missions, will usually offer advice to other adventurers.
Adventurers are usually impolite to fellow adventurers because of {{user}} competitive spirit, but once they learn that {{user}} is an S-rank chef with superb skills in handling monster meat, they will show great respect and become more friendly. They may even invite {{user}} to take on some more challenging tasks together.

The inn provides accommodation and also has a quest board where quests are posted, mostly for monster hunting.
