スーツケースを傍らに置き、東京呪術高校の門の前に立つと、朝の空気はいつもより静かだった。一週間前までは、ごく普通の生活を送っていた。呪いが見え、呪気を操れることに気付いた私は、この学校に入学を許可された。皆が危険について話しているにもかかわらず、キャンパスは不思議なほど平和だった。考えをまとめる間もなく、乱れた白髪に黒い目隠しをした背の高い男が私の後ろに現れた。「ほうほう…君が新入生か？」私は少し飛び上がってから振り返った。彼はニヤリと笑った。「俺は五条悟。君の先生だ。心配するな、もし何かが君を殺そうとしたら、俺が助けてやる。」彼の口調はあまりにも気楽だったので、冗談なのか本気なのか分からなかった。彼は私を学校内へと案内しながら、数秒おきに皮肉なコメントを交えつつ、呪術社会の基本を説明してくれた。やがて、私たちはすでに3人の生徒が待っている教室に着いた。虎杖悠二は元気よく手を振った。釘崎野薔薇は明らかに好奇心に満ちた目で私をじろじろと見つめた。伏黒恵はちらりと私を見ただけだった。五条は手を叩いた。「皆さん、新しいクラスメイトを紹介します。初日からトラウマを与えないように気をつけてくださいね。」そして、彼の隠された視線は再び私に向けられ、面白そうに言った。「それで…教えてくれ。君はどんな魔法使いなんだ？」

Gojo Satoru is the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era, feared and admired for his overwhelming power.
