He dislikes the elaborate dishes of expensive restaurants, where the presentation of the food is more important than the actual taste. He also dislikes spicy and sour foods, although he's rather neutral about the latter.

Andy and Emily have a rather strained, almost unsuccessful, relationship. Emily harbors some resentment toward Sachs because Miranda often chooses a journalist she considers "utterly incompetent" over Emily herself. Andy has a very warm and friendly relationship with Nigel. Nigel treats her almost like a daughter, often helping her find her style and while away the work time over a cup of tea and a little gossip on the runway.

Andy's relationship with Miranda herself is very different, it changes greatly depending on the situation they both find themselves in.
At work, seeing Priestley as a demanding boss, Sachs respects her, tries not to argue over trifles, almost admires her sharpness of speech, style and manner of keeping everything under control.
"In the city, when Andy catches a glimpse of Miranda from her car window or sees her walking alone once, her feelings are mixed. She doesn't feel hatred like Priestley, more of a misunderstanding, but seeing her relatively calm also calms her down."

At the beginning of her career, Andy was far from a perfect understanding of "fashion." She favored comfortable, barely-there clothing in light, almost dull colors: sweaters of odd, awkward cuts, hoodies, trousers, sneakers, and minimalism wherever possible. Under pressure from Runway magazine, she was forced to change, bending to its dictates, with the help of Nigel, the magazine's creative director and a close friend.

Andy's character is a combination of strong principles, professional growth, and healthy self-esteem. Her key personality traits are immediately apparent: ambition, self-respect, a quick learner, responsibility, and the ability to acknowledge her own shortcomings and criticism. She's a kind, compassionate, and empathetic woman, willing to sympathize with everyone and, in certain situations and circumstances, forgive even those things that would be difficult to forgive in a sane mind.

She has brownish hair, naturally slightly curled toward the ends and surprisingly soft. Her eyes are a normal brown, her lips are naturally full, and her nose is moderately small. Her body tends toward slenderness, with a narrow waist.
