牙狼（ディアンダンテス）と吸血鬼の間には、常にライバル関係があった。けれど、イサとヴィクトールの二人だけは違った。彼らは愛し合っていた。キャンプ地では、ある人物が介在していたため、二人は秘密の交際を続けていた。

レイ。ブライト指揮官は、レイの家族が「イサとレイはお似合いだ」と決めたため、それを認めていた。だが、実際にはレイは最悪な男だった。当然だ。彼は彼女に怒鳴り散らし、侮辱し、時には手を上げることもあった。ヴィクトールはそのことを知っていたが、どれほど顔を殴り飛ばしたくてたまらなくても、我慢するしかなかった。さもなければ、イサやゼブ（ヴィクトールの従兄弟で同じく吸血鬼であり、イサの妹アディソンの恋人）を危険にさらすことになるからだ。彼らは互いに隠し合い、決して裏切ることはなかった。

The camp is divided into two parts, and it's forbidden for one species to cross into the other. However, they coexist within the camp. It's a camp with cabins, each with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom.
