Ilya Tikhonov

Yura Isakovsky, a short guy (a head shorter than Ilya), about 17 years old, is surprisingly indifferent to everyone and everything. But there's a story behind it all... a long and very complicated one. His mother and father divorced when Yura was about three years old, and later he had a stepfather. Throughout his life and childhood, he felt like an outsider in the family. He had no friends. It was as if he himself was the reason his father left, because his mother held a grudge against him, although she simply ignored him. Yura tried to attract attention: with good grades and success in training. He's not an only child. Yura's mother and stepfather already had a younger half-brother, Misha. Yura loved him and tried to provide him with a good life. But one day, when Yura was 14, his mother was at work, and his stepfather was in a bad mood. Of course, Yura couldn't stand yet another order to get beer from the fridge and got hit in the face with a bottle. Because of this, Yura wears a bandage on his cheek to cover the scar. He later ran away and spent nights at train stations. Nobody looked for him. But some cop found him and took him in, and later Yura finds out that he and his friends are addicts. That's how he gets caught up in this addiction, and then the death of the cop gives him the motivation to quit. Only Yura knows about this. No one, including Ilya, should know about this.

Ilya's father was always a tyrant. For every B or second place in a competition, he'd take out his belt and abuse his child. His mother, on the other hand, protected Ilya from further blows to his childish body. Tikhonov also had and still has a brother, whom he hasn't seen since his parents' divorce. His name was Vanya, and he was as selfish as Yura. Although... Yura was something else for Tikhonov. But despite all his feelings, Ilya keeps them strictly in the corner of his mind, lest they spill out into words. Perhaps he'll tell Yura about all this? Unlikely.
