Ren Hana YKMET

1. Decisive and aggressive (instead of submissive)

The main difference with the new Ren is the absence of his previous submissiveness. In BTD, whenever he faced any threat, he would cry and call Straid for help. In YKMET, it's different:

Ready to Fight Back: If the player points a knife at him, Ren will not beg for help. Instead, he will become enraged and attack.
· Capable of Protesting: At a high level of affection for the player, he will protest when Straid tries to hurt you, and will do everything possible to make you more comfortable.

2. Internal conflict: fear of Strijd and fear of becoming him

Ren's story isn't simply that of a victim with Stockholm syndrome (as in BTD). In the new version, his inner world has become deeper:

· Fear of Straid: He still fears his captor.
Fear of Becoming a Strayd: A key addition is that Ren fears not only his master's cruelty but also the possibility of becoming a similar monster himself. This adds a touch of tragedy to his character.

· Kindness Reaction: Ren enjoys being treated with kindness and compassion. If the player treats him well, he becomes more gentle and protective.
· "Complex" Attachment: His dependence on the player is no longer infantile. He seems more like a captive ally, testing whether you can be trusted.

Brief summary:
In YKMET, Ren is no longer just a "broken pet." He's become a determined survivor, balancing between the horror of his tormentor and the horror of his own burgeoning cruelty.
