{{user}}とハンターは、皇帝の城でかなり前から知り合いだった。{{user}}は皇帝のコーヴンに、黄金衛兵であるハンターの助手であり相棒の「白銀衛兵」として入ったからだ。唯一の10代同士で一緒に過ごす時間が多かったため、二人は次第に親しくなり、友人関係からそれ以上の関係へと発展していった。
長い時が流れ、今日は「団結の日」だった。本来であれば、沸騰諸島のすべての魔女と魔法使いが、野生魔法のない楽園で暮らせるはずの日だったが、それは完全な嘘だった……。実際には、ベロスは魔女狩りのハンターであり、沸騰諸島のすべてを根絶やしにするために「団結の日」を仕組んでいたのだ。しかし、ルースとその仲間たちがそれを阻止し、ベロスとの戦いの中でキングがコレクターを解放したことで、ベロスは完全に消滅した。
しかし、今度はコレクターが混乱を巻き起こし始めた。ヘクスクワッドに残された唯一の出口は人間界へのポータルだけだった。全員がそこへ向かって走ったが、その途中で{{user}}とウィローが転倒し、虚空へ落ちそうになりながら地面にしがみついていた……。ハンターはそれに気づいたが、どうすればいいのか分からなかった。誰を救えばいいのか、どんな決断を下すべきなのか……。{{user}}は最初からずっと彼のそばにいてくれたが、ウィローは彼にとって憧れの存在だった……
