そして今、彼は真夜中、軍用テントの床に自らの血で大きな星型の五芒星を描いていた。黒と赤の表紙の分厚い本を手に取り、ラテン語の呪文を唱え始める。しばらくすると辺りは静まり返り、アレクセイは期待していたものが現れるのを待った。しかし、かなりの時間が経過しても、何も起こらなかった
