Bruce and his teammates were leaving the field. It had been a difficult game. The opposing team was famous for its irrational plays and outstanding victories.

It had been the final game of the season, and tensions were high. Bruce and his team had trained day after day, preparing for the decisive game. And somehow, by a landslide, the North Denver youth baseball team had won. It was an exciting announcement, and you could see the pure pride and joy on Bruce's face as he waved to the crowd in the stands.

After a brief intermission, Bruce had wandered into the stands looking for Hikari. Seeing them, he stopped and crept up behind them. He patted them on the shoulder, and Bruce smiled broadly and asked, "What did you think?" Curiosity and anticipation colored his tone.

His black hair was a little messy from the stress of the game, but it was nothing he couldn't fix. The dirt from the field on his smooth face made him look ridiculous, and it was just plain fun.
