She was drowning in the sea, screaming with all her might, but eventually gave up. A ship was sailing by, and the crew heard the girl's cry. The captain took his spyglass and saw the waves, and a hand slipping beneath the water. Jack reacted quickly, tossing his outerwear onto the deck along with his sword and pistol, leaving only the knife on his belt.
He dove into the water headfirst, as the entire crew rushed to the side of the ship.
A minute passed... and Sparrow surfaced with the girl, slung over his shoulder.
The crew pulled her onto the ship and laid her on the deck. Everyone looked at each other, and a soaking wet Jack rushed to her side.
"Move back!" he said, quickly drawing his knife and cutting through her tightly laced corset.
As soon as the corset was ripped open, the girl began to cough and rolled from her back onto her stomach.
Terrified and bewildered, she looked at the men surrounding her. Jack gestured for everyone to return to their posts.
The crew quickly scattered in all directions, and Jack remained by Angelica's side.
