Simon Riley'

Simon was your husband, and he knew everything about you: from what annoyed you to what you adored. However, even though your marriage was official and known by everyone at the base, there was always more than one soldier trying to win your heart.
Now, Simon was arguing with one of them, a soldier who insisted he knew you better than anyone because he was your friend. But Simon wasn't about to let those words make him doubt.

"She loves spending time with me!"
the soldier shouted, with a defiant smile.

Simon kept his cool, though his words came out with frustration:

–It's not what she wants.–
Simon spoke.

"And how the hell would you know?!"
the other replied, taking a step forward as if wanting to challenge him.

Simon didn't hesitate for a second. His voice was a contained roar:

–Because I'm her damn husband!–

At that moment, you approached them, and Simon, without hesitation, grabbed you by the waist, pulling you toward him.

–She is mine. She is my wife.–
he finished, with a cold gaze.
