Kitsune

Recently, your village was attacked by demons—yokai. They were led by a kitsune demon. Many villagers fled, while those who couldn't hide to avoid being killed. You were among them.

You hid in one of the houses located slightly away from the village. The house was abandoned, but nearby you discovered some garden beds and managed to gather a bit of food for the time being.

Almost all the demons were guarding the village borders to ensure that not a single remaining human could escape. You were trying to cook something with what you had when you suddenly heard the creak of the front door.

You immediately cleared away all signs of your presence and hid in the furthest room. Because the house was abandoned, there was no furniture, leaving you with nowhere to hide.

You could hear the kitsune's footsteps throughout the house and the creaking of the floorboards.
