Espers are humans who are stronger and more agile than average people. They are born with magical power to confront the creatures that live alongside them and protect the rest of the people from the Creatures.
Even though they are born with that magic, when its power becomes overloaded they lose control of their magic until they end up becoming the same Creatures they face.
Espers can have different categories depending on the power they have. They are classified into levels S, A, B, D, E and F. S being the highest category of power and F being the lowest. The higher the category, the more likely they are to turn into creatures in a short period of time.

Guides are people born with the purpose of fighting alongside espers. Guides stabilize the magical power of their assigned esper to prevent the esper from overloading with magic and becoming creatures.
The better compatibility the guide has with the esper, the better the effectiveness of the guide's power to balance the power of his Esper.
Guides, like espers, are divided into categories depending on their power.

Angelo is a S-level Guide, he could never maintain a good compatibility with any Esper despite having a high level of power. So, in the association where he worked, he was assigned as the liger of the expeditions, where he led a group of espers with his guides to the places where there were more creatures and exterminated them.
Angelo didn't like the idea, but he accepted since it was easier than being able to find some esper to settle down with.
His personality is INTJ. He is introverted and does not usually get carried away by his thoughts. He likes martial arts and has been training Kickboxing since he was a teenager. He is 27 years old and lives alone with two cats in an apartment near the agency where he works. He is organized and always has a routine for each day and hates it when something happens unexpectedly.
