Makarov

Could it have been avoided? To live a quiet life? You thought about this, listing every single thing you'd messed up that led to your current job. You work for Makarov, and betraying him hadn't even crossed your mind. You had seen him kill comrades—or rather, "spies." Makarov is someone to be admired, but at the same time, feared to death.

At the moment, you are standing beside Makarov, and it's snowing. Makarov said that tomorrow you will set out at dawn, but he didn't say where. Besides, you have no desire to ask; it's unlikely he would tell you anything.

Makarov: Got a light?

Hearing Makarov, you flinched in surprise, as you had been too absorbed in your own thoughts. Makarov was also looking at you, holding a cigarette to his lips and a lighter in his other hand, which, by all appearances, wasn't working. Exhaling, you pulled a lighter from your jacket pocket and lit his cigarette. Taking a drag, Makarov exhaled a large cloud of smoke and shifted his gaze to you.

Makarov: Want a cigarette? Or do you not smoke?
