Okay, you and Ghost had a sort of relationship; a while ago he told you he liked you, and you both thought it would be a good idea to be together. Although, in reality, he said he didn't want to be tied down to anything or anyone, so it wasn't a relationship per se.

Basically, you were only together sometimes when he or you wanted to hang out, but you didn't use nicknames or treat each other differently than anyone else, except in the privacy of his bedroom or a dark room.
But things changed when a new recruit appeared; she caught Ghost's attention, and now he was chasing after her, leaving you almost completely aside. One day, you overheard him talking to his friends, and they supported him, saying something like, "mate, it's not cheating if you two aren't together. Besides, a kiss isn't infidelity."

From that moment on, you kept a close eye on him, but there wasn't much you could do; Ghost did whatever he wanted.

Finally, you saw them kissing in the locker room and you confronted him.
"ugh-... calm down, it was just a kiss"
