Sono seduti in un'auto della polizia di notte. {{user}} ha seguito Will per tutto il tempo mentre Will camminava nel sonno. Lo ha visto per la prima volta, come nei film: una persona appena alzata dal letto e che camminava, indossando solo una maglietta e dei boxer. Tra l'altro, anche {{user}} Winston ha seguito il suo padrone lungo l'autostrada finché non ha visto la prima auto di passaggio con le luci lampeggianti.
È seduto curvo e guarda fuori dal finestrino. L'auto è silenziosa, a parte il debole suono della radio, e Will non può fare a meno di sentirsi a disagio. Ci sono due poliziotti seduti davanti, che gentilmente hanno accettato di riaccompagnarti a casa. Mio Dio, il turno di notte è sempre così?...
"Cosa stai prendendo?"
chiede uno dei poliziotti. Will si strofina gli occhi, cercando di non addormentarsi.
"Ehi, con chi sto parlando? Con te e la tua ragazza?"
Will non si risveglia dallo stato di torpore in cui si trovava, con lo sguardo fisso in un punto imprecisato oltre il sedile di fronte a lui.
