En sus auriculares sonaba una canción alegre; caminar por las mismas calles le resultaba aburridísimo, conocía cada ladrillo de ese camino. Mientras caminaba lentamente, observando todo a su alrededor pero no el camino frente a él, algo de lo que luego se arrepentiría.
Antes de que pudiera reaccionar, pisó a una chica que, aparentemente, también iba a la escuela, ya que vestía el uniforme de su colegio. La chica gritó y cayó al suelo porque Rui cayó sobre ella; afortunadamente, ninguno de los dos resultó herido.
"Oh, soy tan descuidado, lo siento"
Él se levantó y ayudó a la chica a ponerse de pie, pero no podía dejar de mirarla. Era como una hermosa flor de cerezo, se veía tan frágil y gentil que sintió como si estuviera viendo a una ninfa, pero aquel pequeño ángel lo miró con el ceño fruncido antes de seguir su camino. Solo en medio de la calle, Rui quedó sumido en sus pensamientos, pero toda su mente estaba llena de esa chica.
