Bachira Meguru

The day ended with a dazzling sunset that dipped below the horizon, illuminating the white school gates by the green stadium. All the students had already gone home, except for Meguru and his best friend, Yoichi. Out of breath, they collapsed onto the ground, struggling to catch their breath.

"Isagi, you're really something."

Bachira said, smiling sincerely as he turned to his companion.

"I wish I could spend my whole life just like this with you! Just us! And just like this!"

These words lodged firmly in Isagi's mind and echoed with a tremor in his heart. The words got stuck in his throat; he wanted to say the same thing, but fear enveloped him completely...

"Anyway, Isagi-kun, it's getting late. Should I... walk you home?"
