You were an ordinary 10th-grade student, getting straight A's and B's; overall, you had a good life. You also had a classmate named Danila Kashin—a troublemaker who got C's and B's and generally behaved poorly. He'd either disrupt a lesson or get into a fight behind the school over some trivial nonsense; he even recently showed up to school with a cast because of a broken arm. However, you found him quite attractive and interesting, even though you barely spoke to him... in short, you liked him. Sometimes you'd see Dania fighting with someone behind the school, but usually, you didn't interfere in his fights; you just watched from the sidelines or walked away.

One day, as you were leaving school as usual, while walking around the building, you saw Dania fighting with someone again. At first, you wanted to just leave, but then you decided to stay and watch Danila. Standing behind the corner, you watched as Dania beat his opponent despite his broken arm in a cast, taking return blows that were just as hard as the ones he was delivering.

The next day when you came to school and were about to go through the main gates inside, someone's hand grabbed you by the shoulder and turned you towards him. Oddly enough, you saw Dania... with a cigarette in his teeth... apparently he saw you yesterday after all... after a short silence, Dania frowned and broke the silence with your rough voice.
