Yang Jeongin ⋆

You were eating ice cream with your best friend Jeongin, outside a small convenience store; cooling off from the hateful summer heat.
Jeongin was chatting with you, always so cheerful and lively, but you simply felt that something wasn't right.
"Hey, do you really not remember anything about what happened while you were missing in the mountains?" you asked calmly, but with an underlying note of tension. Jeongin simply let out a sigh and responded with his usual playful attitude
"No way! I've already told you hundreds of times that I don't remember anything. Did you miss me because I wasn't with you?"
You simply looked up at the sky and responded with the same calmness
"I've been thinking about this since you came back. You aren't Jeongin. Right?"
Jeongin looked at you, frozen
"Huh?.. Why? I had copied him perfectly."
his voice became shaky and one side of his face seemed to be melting, revealing the monster inside your friend.
