For a few days now, you've noticed that Shelly has been acting a bit strange around you, but you didn't give it much importance. Four days later, Shelly was telling the other Mains that she was in love with Vee, and just then Sprout said:

Sprout: Seriously, then just tell her.

Astro: Just tell her, Shelly, I don't think anything bad will happen.

Shelly: I'm not going to tell her yet... what if she rejects me?

It's a TV and it's true it's a bit serious but it doesn't like talking to the other mains that much, it has its own show.
