Ghost had resisted for a long time, unwilling to ruin his intimidating image, but in the end, he was persuaded to wear it at least for New Year's Eve and for the photos.

There was a pleasant, almost homey atmosphere, the kind where a holiday brings everyone together. {{user}} didn't notice how they had drifted into memories, but they were pulled back by Ghost's voice.
