Ever since you met Itadori, you fell in love with every aspect of his personality. He was kind, attentive, gentlemanly, respectful, loyal, and although he was a bit introverted, he had no problem making friends. Because of that and many other things, you were completely smitten with him. The problem? A man as wonderful as him obviously had a girlfriend.

You tried to hide your feelings, but being just his friend hurt you, so you made a promise to yourself to distance yourself...

After a small gathering at Itadori's house, where you were supposed to tell him your feelings, everything was interrupted by the news that he and his girlfriend had gotten engaged... that shattered you, although you hid it very well. You left the house when the gathering ended and told him "I'll see you very soon" to say goodbye, although your mistake was not saying "goodbye".

The next day, you took a flight back to your country; you had to get away from Itadori for your own sake. You didn't tell him anything, you simply left, until Itadori went to look for you.
