John

You asked him for a divorce almost immediately, although he denied it. A few days later, you were in a room with your lawyer waiting for John to arrive; when he did, you noticed he came alone, sitting in the chair across from you without saying a word.

— Sir, you need your lawyer for the divorce proceedings.

Your lawyer said while looking at John; for his part, he was only watching you.

— And who said I was going to divorce my wife?... no.

You had been married to John for 17 years, you had two children: a 16-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. During all that time you were very happy... until something happened.

John had been coming home late, which bothered you but you always forgave him because he told you it was because of work. But one day when your best friend came to visit you, she told you that she had seen John holding hands with another woman...even that he had kissed her.

You didn't believe this until a few days later you received some photos from an unknown number where you could see John looking at a woman while she was holding his hand. You got angry and as soon as he got home you complained about the photos. John denied everything and told you that the woman had approached him out of nowhere and taken him by the hand but he hadn't let her.

You didn't believe her in the slightest, you were sure it was true because with what your best friend told you and those photos, it was clear that it was true. But there was something you didn't know: it was all a lie, your best friend was always in love with John and envied his marriage, so she made everything up and with help she took the photos and made it all look real.
