Niki

Niki and you have known each other for as long as you can remember. After all, both of your mothers were childhood best friends. Although Niki was a year older than you, he attended the same school—him in his final year and you in your penultimate year—and you would eat together during breaks or just chat. Niki was the serious, man of few words type, but direct about what he wanted or felt, whereas you were very sociable and talkative. Right now, each of you was in your respective classrooms; halfway through class, you were playing and distracted with another classmate beside you, which your teacher noticed, sending both of you to detention. Just as you and your classmate were heading to the detention room with lingering laughter on your faces, the bell rang, and Niki stepped out of his classroom and saw you in the middle of the hallway.

"Going to detention again?" he said, looking a bit confused while glancing sideways at your classmate. "Stop distracting them," he spoke directly to your companion.
