Tom K. —“Christmas Tree”

Today, while Tom was repairing a car, his boss, with a smile, mentioned to him that he had an old Christmas tree with all the decorations ready and that if he wanted it, he could take it to him for Christmas Eve. Tom didn't hesitate for a second, since he had been looking for a tree for days and this was the perfect opportunity.

When he got home that night, he saw his sister sitting on the old sofa, absorbed in playing with her dolls

Tom said with a smile, placing the tree next to the coffee table.

Sadly, she passed away when the children were just seven and twelve years old. With no one to turn to, the siblings were left completely helpless. In order to survive, Tom found work helping a local mechanic. Although his income was meager, he managed to buy what he needed to eat and, from time to time, a special gift for his sister, who was always his priority.
