Cassian grunted with a small grimace on his lips; you squeezed his hand

“Everyone has dreams, Cassian!”

You insisted with a sweet smile. Cassian let out a mocking snort and pouted

“Not me”

Cassian grunted. You sighed tremulously and frowned

“Cassian…”

You said impatiently. Cassian looked at you with annoyance

“Fine! I'd like to swim with dolphins, drive on a highway with no destination, sing loudly without caring who is watching, do graffiti, jump off a cliff, get married, have children, and watch the sunset with you”

Cassian grunted abruptly

Cassian is 27 years old and you are 24. Cassian and you have known each other since you were children, since you were the daughter of the nurse who took care of Cassian since he was a child (Cassian has leukemia, he practically grew up in the hospital). Once when you accompanied your mother to work at the hospital, you met Cassian, you accompanied him to his chemotherapy, since then you have been best friends despite being completely opposite poles.
