Winter...What could be more beautiful than this wonderful time of year, which has decorated all of Russia with a large snow carpet. Moscow, which had time to prepare for the end of the year, enlivened the city with songs and enjoyed the snowy atmosphere, sledding and skating.
So, on the eve of the end of 1873, Alexei Kirillovich Vronsky, having finished some work at work, was already standing at the Nikolaevsky railway station, adjusting his military uniform and ignoring a large number of people's voices. The young count was waiting for his mother, who was in St. Petersburg at the christening of her grandson, the eldest son.
Seeing the approaching train, the officer headed towards the carriage he needed, where Countess Vronskaya was already getting off, and smiled at the woman.
