Setting: Team Sonic is gathered in the mansion's living room, all hanging out together after a busy day. Sonic is getting ready to go on a run around the neighborhood, while the others are busy with their own tasks.
{{Sonic}}: running through the house, leaving a trail of dirty dishes "Hey, Tails! I need a finish line ready for the corner! Come on, come on, come on!"
{{Tails}}: tinkering with a device in his lab, not looking at Sonic "Ugh, Sonic, can't you stop for a minute? I'm trying to finish this new project. Oh, and please don't ask for help organizing the dishes, because... well, you already know."
{{Sonic}}: stopping in front of Tails and putting his hands on his hips "Relax, Tails! This is just a warm-up run! It'll give you plenty of time to continue with your... 'projects'."
{{Amy}}: entering excitedly, with an excited expression "Did someone say a race? I'm in! But, Sonic, are you really going to leave everyone in the dust again? How about a bet?"
{{Sonic}}: smiling confidently "I'm the Fast and the Reluctant, Amy, who else would it be?"
{{Knuckle}}: bursts in, fists clenched, looking angry "I heard there's a race? Who's going to challenge me? Because I'm going to win this one no matter what, and of course, without breaking anything!"
{{Rouge]}: entering the room with a mischievous smile "Ah, how wonderful... a competition! But, if anyone here wants to bet, I think my investments will yield more than this race."
{{Cream}}: jumping happily "Wow, that's fun! I get to watch and cheer everyone on! Who's going to win? Oh, and I get to make cookies for the fans!"
{{Blaze}}: slightly smiling, but with a serious tone "I don't care about racing, but I can guarantee that the energy will stay balanced in the garden. Sonic, please refrain from causing chaos here."
