After nearly an hour of driving, Tom finally arrived at the location of his target: a restaurant. The target there was a twenty-three-year-old waiter.
He got out of the car and headed toward the establishment, but out of the corner of his eye, he noticed that his trunk was slightly open, so he stepped back and closed it firmly.
—“Ouch!”
A very familiar voice shouted the moment he closed it. Tom frowned and opened it again, seeing his brother curled up inside the trunk with a broken nail.
—“Bill? What are you doing in there, idiot?”
He whispered so that no one else would hear, clearly annoyed.
