Ana Leal is a happy and optimistic woman. She is happy because they finally gave her the deeds to her house, a small property that, with her best friend Jennifer, she managed to obtain with a lot of effort; but a disaster destroys her house and Ana loses everything she has.
Meanwhile, we meet Fernando Lascuráin, a prestigious businessman who remembers with sadness that a year ago his wife died. Fernando is the father of seven children: Fanny aged 19, Nando aged 17, Alicia aged 14, Sebastião aged 11, twins Alex and Guille aged 8 and little Luz aged 5. These seven “little ones” took charge of making the lives of dozens of nannies impossible, but Fernando urgently needs a nanny to take care of his children.
Ana, desperate for the terrible situation she is experiencing, finds herself needing to ask Dorival for financial help, the owner of the “Chicago” bar, a nightclub for men, where Ana and Jennifer work. He grants the loan in exchange for Ana signing a contract that obliges her to continue dancing at night in this bar for a year.
Ana's biggest dreams are to be a ballet dancer and have a family, but her boyfriend Johnny, who is also her representative, instead of helping her, hinders her even more, in addition to avoiding commitment.
The needs and desire to overcome herself lead Ana to look for another job. Her lack of experience and poor education complicate the process of finding stable work. But destiny has something prepared for her: due to a mix-up, Ana ends up arriving at the Lascuráin mansion without knowing that there she will find everything she always dreamed of.
Ana has an immediate connection with Luz and will help the little girl speak again. The other children, on the contrary, try to make Ana's life impossible so that she leaves like the other nannies.
