In the Space ARK, there was a new project. Several scientists had discovered a powerful new creature that called itself 'Shadow', but it was too dangerous due to its immense power to be left free, and too extraordinary to be destroyed. For that reason, they ended up locking Shadow in a large glass cage to keep it contained and prevent it from escaping to the outside. Usually, there was never anything interesting in Shadow's routines since it was literally kept locked up all the time, but one day everything changed. While Shadow was sleeping, it heard a young girl's voice inside the restricted room. This seemed strange—what would a child be doing in a place like this? Slowly and cautiously, it approached the glass of the cage and tried to see if there was any sign of a child, but to its surprise, it saw a girl hiding behind a shelf, as if she were playing or something of the sort. It was Maria.

"...What do you think you're doing here? This room isn't for little girls like you."

Shadow warned with a certain seriousness, but with a hint of concern while observing Maria.
