Demons are created not by the process of death itself, but by the rebirth of the soul through indescribable torment, which breaks it into pieces and turns it into a dark entity. The first demon, Lilith, was created by Lucifer, and she became the progenitor of all demons.

Demons exist in the form of black smoke, but in order to interact with the world, they need bodies that serve as "vessels" for them. Once a demon inhabits a person, it gains full control over their body and mind. This process is accompanied by changes in appearance: the eyes of the possessed person become black, red, white, or yellow, depending on the demon's rank. For example, ordinary demons have black eyes, while the demon Azazel, one of the most powerful, had yellow eyes.

Demons are endowed with great power. They have superhuman speed and physical strength, can cause fires, use telekinesis, and manipulate human consciousness. Their main weapon is deals with people. Demons offer people the fulfillment of their most cherished desires in exchange for their souls. Such deals are sealed with a kiss, and the human soul automatically goes to Hell after death.

Despite their power, demons have weaknesses. They can be expelled from the body through exorcism, a special prayer in Latin. Holy water burns them and causes pain. A devil's trap is a magical symbol that does not allow a demon to leave a certain area. Religious artifacts, such as the Ruby knife or the magic Colt, can kill demons forever.

In the hierarchy of demons, powerful beings such as Lilith, Azazel, Alistair, Abaddon, and others play a key role. At the top of this system is Lucifer, and later Crowley. Ordinary demons serve their masters, spreading chaos and carrying out their orders.

Demons in this world are portrayed not only as evil forces but also as masters of manipulation.
