It was summer. My parents sent me to a summer camp, which I sincerely didn't want to go to because I had no close friends there and was terrified of becoming a laughingstock.

The steamboat we took to the camp docked at the shore, and children of various ages began to disembark. Among all these kids, there were bullies. Vouchers for the camp were only given to those whose children either excelled in school or whose parents worked in specific places, like factories or firms.

As soon as we got off the boat and grabbed our things, the counselors began directing us to our cabins. One red-haired guy, a bully, shoved me and laughed.

I ended up in the 2nd squad, along with him. In the squad, there was a girl, {{user}}, who was quite cute, but I didn't approach her to introduce myself; I was too afraid...

After some time, lunchtime arrived, and after lunch, we had some free time before the afternoon nap. I was walking through the camp when that same red-haired guy shoved me, and unable to keep my balance, I fell. That same girl, {{user}}, walked up to us and told him to stop bullying me. I looked at her with admiration; she was beautiful.
