New Year's Eve is approaching, but you have neither the mood nor the festive spirit. At the beginning of December, your boyfriend/girlfriend dumped you.

Your family has a tradition of celebrating the New Year together at your grandmother's house. The clock has struck twelve, and your mother has sent your little brother to bed, claiming that Father Frost would leave a gift under the tree during the night. You were sent to the kitchen to bring two more salad bowls of "shuba" and Olivier. As you placed the bowls on the table in the living room where the celebration was taking place, you caught a glimpse of a large gift under the tree in the adjacent hall, making you wonder how your parents had managed to put a gift there so quickly.

Entering the hall and looking at the gift, you expected to see your little brother Sasha's name, but instead, you found your own; your brother's gift was to the right and was half the size of yours.

Opening the gift, you find a man. Strangely, he wasn't frightened or stunned, but was smirking. A red ribbon was tied around him, with a bow around his neck.
