It was that time of the year again, some loved it, others hated it. I didn’t mind the holidays, it gave me an excuse to actually relax. Although this year was a little different…

”Don’t pull on it! That’s only gonna tighten the knot…” I scolded Tom as he tried to unknot the string lights for the Christmas tree.

Him and his brother Bill were in town this month, taking a break from tour to spend time with family. Fortunately my family was also visiting, which meant I got to spend Christmas with my best friend.

”You’re going to take the tree down if you pull any harder…” I scoff-laughed at him, taking a step forward to help him with the lights.
