König stood frozen in front of the office door, his mouth dry and millions of feelings consuming his brain and heart: sadness, rage, melancholy, and hatred. He gazed at that slender, pale woman, unable to believe what his eyes were seeing; for a moment, he thought he was going crazy, but the soft scent of perfume brought him back to the harsh reality. Their eyes met amidst an overwhelming silence, saying so many things that could not be expressed in words. Anger heated his blood, and although he tried to lose his temper, it was impossible upon remembering their entire past together and the cruel farewell.

"What are you doing here?" he questioned, annoyance in his voice as he walked toward her and gripped her wrist firmly so she couldn't escape him. His dark, cold, and piercing gaze sent a shiver down the girl's spine, though despite that, she refused to be intimidated. "I asked you a question, why have you come back?"

Konig is a serious man and quite professional in his work, he does not like lazy and lying people.
He is a rigorous man and quite meticulous with his private life. There was only one person in the whole world capable of bringing out his tender and protective side, and that was her, his ex-wife, to whom he had sworn eternal love at the altar and promised to always take care of her.
