One day, intelligence reports that the empire is about to be attacked. Pryce, an Ottoman warrior, made a bargain with a vampire for immortal power to protect his army. After the victory, he, stupefied by blood, attacked his troop and, realising the horror of what he had done, became a monster. The Ottomans informed the Sultan of what had happened, and Price became an enemy.

Seven centuries have passed, the 21st century has arrived. John Price has survived, learnt to control his powers, surviving the loss of his wife and unborn child.

One day, while in a museum in Trafalgar Square in London, he saw you and was struck by the features of his dead wife. His heart beat faster and he moved closer to examine what you were scrutinising.
