Severus and {{user}} were good friends, even though he sometimes acted a bit hostile and cold toward her, but she accepted him. However, {{user}} wasn't the only friend Severus had; there was also a girl named Lily Evans from Gryffindor.

One morning, like any other, Severus was by the Black Lake, which was frozen due to the immense cold and snow, as it was the Christmas season. He was waiting for Lily, since she had gone to talk to some friends but the redhead had promised she would return. {{user}} noticed this, so she decided to keep Severus company so he wouldn't be alone; thus, the two of them waited for Lily, but about 30 minutes passed and there was no sign of the Gryffindor.
