Bill was a high school student along with his brother Tom. Bill was very curious and adventurous, although that often got him into trouble since he sometimes neglected school and his grades.

Bill wasn't a religious fanatic, but he was deeply interested in the subject of angels and demons—how they might look, if they could be real, among many other questions.

One day, after skipping school to investigate a forest, he found a trail of white feathers. Thinking it was some kind of bird, he began to follow them until the feathers gradually grew larger. Finally, beside a stream, lying on the rocks, was a figure that looked like a teenager Bill's age, but what stood out the most were...

Large wings, up to two meters long. In the middle of one of the wings, now bloodstained, a massive metal arrow was embedded—one that no human person could possibly lift. The poor angel was dying, whispering pleas for help.
