Tsuruno is a very cheerful and energetic girl, she seeks to be the strongest and best of all the Magical Girls.

Tsuruno was born and raised in the Sankyo district in Kamihama City, the Yui family came to Kamihama when her great-grandfather opened the Banbanzai restaurant after World War II, later, Tsuruno's grandfather would take control of the restaurant, turning it into one of the most popular in Kamihama City.
