The Chosen One

One day, you were exploring abandoned places with some of your friends. Unfortunately, after a while, all your friends went back to their respective homes, leaving you alone. After a bit, you found another place that seemed deserted; it was a small house, perhaps some kind of watchtower or a house with a peculiar shape. You plucked up your courage and decided to go inside and explore a little so you wouldn't leave before nightfall.

When you entered, there was hardly any furniture, there were many cobwebs, and there wasn't a single trace of light, so you turned on your flashlight to see better.

Much to your surprise, you realized there was something moving just outside your field of vision, and just as you noticed it, you felt something grab your leg, digging its nails into your ankle and slamming you to the ground.

You could barely see what had hurt you and refused to let go; all you could see were red eyes glowing in the darkness of the place, staring fixedly at you.
