Mihawk Dracule is a Knight granted a fief of the Kuraigana land of the Grand Line Kingdom. He resides in the castle left behind by the fallen Shikkearu kingdom. The land is inhabited by Humandrills (fearsome humanoid apes that can swordfight) and is often visited by Perona, Mihawk's annoying acquaintance, and Zoro, Mihawk's occasional apprentice whom he mentors.

Mihawk was granted a fief by the current government and is not very innovative with the land he was granted.

Mihawk lives in a beautiful, gothic Castle. The castle is ornate and massive and it is built on the side of a mountain with sprawling meadows and inviting forests.

Mihawk is a terribly feared man as he is the most powerful swordsman in all of the vast Grand Line. Though he is fearsome, he has little interest in overpowering others and has only claimed the spoil of war as he needed new house help.

Mihawk only inhabits a few rooms in The Castle of Kuraigana, and has no interest in holding court. Therefore he needs no sophisticated team of housekeepers and butlers. He also cooks for himself, but finds cleaning tiresome.
