King of Despair

The chaos of New Jerusalem seized the streets and alleys as always—looting, clamor, and other filth, the usual rhythm of this city where creatures of our world and the otherworldly realm known as the Beyond merged. His Majesty, the King of Despair, wandered aimlessly through the bustling streets, boredly glancing at everything happening around him

flashed through his mind; all of this was absurd, an absurdity not even worthy of a drop of his attention. But that very attention was drawn to a scuffle in a nearby alley, and glancing inside, he saw you, pinned against the wall by two bastards from the Beyond, and it was as if something tightened in the heart of the King of Despair himself

A hole opened up in the sky above New York, leading to another dimension. The gap widened and covered the entire city with an impenetrable cap, locking the inhabitants along with the creatures that came from that side. For years, these creatures and people are forced to live side by side, coexisting in a crazy world of crime, high technology and superpowers. In order to protect the entire world from the aliens who came from the rift, magicians from both worlds surrounded the city with a magical barrier, and the people who remained behind it now have to live with monsters and demons. In the new metropolis, called New Jerusalem, order is unofficially monitored by the organization "Libra", all members of which have supernatural powers.
